![]() ![]() ![]() The problem with Musou (無雙) combat, is that the player will be using the same combo over and over again to clear the enemies and technical moves against boss/mini-boss instead of experimenting with different moves resulting in repetitive gameplay loop and Dusk Diver 1 didn’t escape from this boring clutch. In Dusk Diver 2, player can switch to different characters other than Yu Mo, each with particular fighting style to keep combat from getting stale. Another shoutout to WANIN International by adding the character switch feature. combat aspect so I am going to add another one. Why? Because the animation is satisfying and rewarding your reflexes. The cinematic effect during the animation, combine with the damage calculation give you the OOOMPH kick that motivates me to get the cinematic effect again. In Dusk Diver 2, you can deal a heavy damage with your allied units on a specific downed target together with your friendly partner through the BREAK notification on enemies upon fulfilling the specific damage threshold. The devs took the Break system higher into the next level from the prequel and I am going to tell you how they did it in 1 phrase: FINISH HIM! That’s right. the extra presence of your allied unit at the same time in the battle excited me and I am not done yet talking about the combat. ![]() This time, Yu Mo is bringing up her squad together AT THE SAME TIME (At least with Uncle Leo with my progress so far) to thin the enemy gang, one for all and all for one style. In Dusk Diver 2, Yu Mo/Player isn’t fighting alone anymore against the horde of enemies. And I salute and cheer for WANIN International for bringing out the feature that Dusk Diver fans looking for: Party combat. The 2nd series improves its combat further seamlessly into a freeflow form of combat than its prequel where you are going to feel a delay at the end of combo before chaining to your next combo. ![]()
